One of our beloved nurses, Betty Hopkins, was awarded the 2026 Helen B. Fraser Maternal & Child Health Award due to her work in transforming maternal and child health not only in Kentucky, but across the entire nation. If you were ever a patient here, you likely know Betty. While she has since retired, her legacy lives on every time a family is added to WIC across the nation.
